Alana Wright, MS, LPC

Alana received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Spring Hill College and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004. She completed an internship in community mental health with concentrations in dual diagnosis and severe mental illness. Alana has experience working in academic, community mental health, and private practice settings.

Alana provides psychotherapy services at AARC to individuals, couples and families for a broad range of concerns including anxiety and stress management, depression, marriage/relationship, social skills training, and parenting/family support. She is dedicated to helping clients move beyond barriers to live a more healthy and productive life. Knowing that even the most difficult situations can be an opportunity for growth, Alana works with each client to develop an individualized approach to treatment. She has experience treating a diverse range of issues and provides a space to explore and process these in a safe and encouraging environment.
