Jennifer Crews, PT
Director of Physical Therapy
As head of our Physical Therapy department, Jennifer is responsible for creating and implementing programs to best match the needs of our physical therapy patients. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2010 with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has a wide range of experience as she has had the opportunity to practice in a variety of settings including Early Intervention, school system, pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatient, skilled nursing facilities and the VA. Jennifer is certified in the Universal Exercise Unit, an invaluable tool that AARC will use as a major component in the physical therapy department.
It was Jennifer’s experience with many special-needs patients that led her to this position at AARC. She loves working with people from all walks of life. She feels physical therapy is a service that allows her to work with all types of people, at many different stages and ages of life. She enjoys teaching people how to help themselves and seeing them achieve more than they ever believed they could. As a member of the AARC team, Jennifer is excited to be part of something new and needed in the area and enjoys feeling like part of a larger team with the same goals.
Jennifer is married with two small children. She enjoys spending time with her family doing outdoor activities such as camping and biking. If she manages any spare time, Jennifer also loves a good challenge at any DIY project.
