Physical Therapy
The purpose of physical therapy is to promote mobility. This is done by restoring strength, improving range of motion and function, and helping reduce pain; all helping a person to move better. The goal is to help provide the highest quality of life through active participation in home, school and community environments. A person may need physical therapy services as a result of an injury or surgery, pre-existing conditions, developmental disabilities, or problems caused by other illnesses or diseases.
Our physical therapy services vary with patient age and individual needs. As part of our services, AARC will utilize the Universal Exercise Unit, which is unique to the area, and can help a wide range of patients. This invaluable tool can be individualized for each patient to further assist the therapist in helping patients with strength and range of motion gains.
